The Centre Togolais des Expositions et Foires de Lomé has officially launched the second edition of the HUMANIS Health and Wellness Fair 2026 in Lomé, Togo. The five-day event aims to strengthen preventive healthcare awareness, improve access to medical services, and encourage healthier lifestyles among citizens through education, screening programs, and free medical consultations.
Held under the theme “Your Health, Your Responsibility: Prevent to Live Better,” the fair serves as a national platform that brings together healthcare professionals, public institutions, civil society organizations, and community members to discuss strategies for improving public health and well-being. The event highlights the importance of disease prevention and personal responsibility in maintaining good health, emphasizing that everyday choices and healthy habits play a crucial role in overall wellness.
One of the key features of HUMANIS 2026 is the provision of free medical consultations and health screening services, particularly targeting vulnerable populations who may face barriers to accessing healthcare. By offering these services, the initiative seeks to promote early disease detection, improve health outcomes, and reduce inequalities in healthcare access across the country.
According to CETEF officials, the fair is designed to become a leading national forum for health promotion and public engagement. The event encourages collaboration among institutions and communities while creating opportunities to share knowledge, raise awareness about preventive healthcare measures, and foster a culture of wellness and resilience throughout Togo.
Through educational activities, expert discussions, and direct healthcare services, HUMANIS 2026 supports broader efforts to strengthen public health systems, empower individuals to make informed health decisions, and improve the quality of life for citizens. The initiative reflects a growing commitment to prevention-focused healthcare approaches that can help reduce the burden of disease and support sustainable community development.
