The Roaring Fork Valley Community Health Fund will begin accepting grant applications on June 1 through the Western Colorado Community Foundation (WCCF).
Now entering its second year of grantmaking, the fund is dedicated to strengthening the health and well-being of residents across the valley, from Aspen to Parachute. In its inaugural year, $40,000 was awarded to nine organizations serving Garfield and Pitkin Counties.
This year’s funding will continue to support initiatives that expand advanced primary care, address social determinants of health through partnerships, provide workforce education scholarships, meet the needs of older adults, bolster safety net services, and promote health education.
By investing in these areas, the Community Health Fund aims to build a healthier, more resilient region where individuals and families can thrive.
