Dublin — May 29, 2026 — Bord Bia has officially opened submissions for the National Organic Awards 2026, inviting Ireland’s organic food and drink producers to showcase their achievements. The biennial awards, held in association with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, will take place on September 24, 2026 at the Bord Bia Global Hub in Dublin.
The awards celebrate excellence across the Irish organic sector, recognizing innovation, sustainability, and impact in seven categories. Producers, farmers, retailers, exporters, and foodservice operators are encouraged to enter, with judging scheduled for September 3, 2026.
Categories include recognition for the Best Irish Organic Brand, Best Organic Farmer, Best Organic Retailer, Best Organic Exporter, and Best New & Innovative Product. Additional awards highlight excellence in Foodservice and Impact Initiatives, ensuring that every part of the organic value chain is represented.
Judging will be carried out by a panel of experts, with criteria ranging from authenticity and innovation to sustainability, community impact, and market success. Winners will be announced at a ceremony that celebrates the very best of Ireland’s organic food and drink sector.
