London, June 2026 – The Pilgrim Trust Young Women in Mind Programme has opened applications for its 2026–2028 funding round, offering grants between £200,000 and £500,000 to support charities delivering targeted mental health services for young women aged 14–25 in the UK.
The programme is designed to strengthen and expand high‑quality therapeutic services tailored to the needs of young women experiencing mental health difficulties. Eligible charities in Scotland can apply for funding to scale existing services or adapt current provision to better meet the realities faced by young women in their communities.
The initiative reflects growing concern over worsening mental health outcomes among young women, many of whom struggle to access timely, gender‑specific support. By investing in charities with proven track records, the programme aims to ensure that more young women can benefit from CBT, talking therapies, creative‑based interventions, and holistic services such as youth work, family support, and advice.
Applications are open now, with grants spread over three years to help organisations build sustainable, community‑based mental health services that respond effectively to the challenges young women face today.
