May 2026 — The PATH Foundation has announced more than $1.17 million in Flexible Funding grants to 49 nonprofits across Fauquier, Culpeper, and Rappahannock counties. The funding is designed to strengthen community health and vitality by supporting organizations aligned with PATH’s four priority areas: access to health, childhood wellness, mental health, and senior services.
Among the recipients is The Bridge Community Church, which received support for its Emergency Services Canteen Unit. The volunteer-led program provides hydration, meals, sanitation, and care at emergency incidents and trainings. Since its launch in 2019, the unit has responded to over 200 emergencies and served more than 6,000 first responders.
Flexible Funding grants, offering up to $75,000 in unrestricted support, allow nonprofits to allocate resources where they are most needed. This flexibility ensures organizations can continue delivering essential services while adapting to evolving community needs.
By investing in diverse initiatives — from literacy and agricultural programs to mental health support and senior services — the PATH Foundation reinforces its mission to improve health, wellness, and resilience across the region.
