Omaxe Limited has secured ₹75 crore in funding from WSB Partners as part of a strategic push into India’s fast-growing Tier II property markets.
The investment targets residential plotted developments in Ujjain and Indore, two emerging urban centres benefiting from rising demand, infrastructure expansion, and improving connectivity. These cities are increasingly attracting institutional capital as developers look beyond major metros toward more affordable and high-growth regions.
According to the investor, Tier II and Tier III markets are gaining momentum due to rising incomes, better infrastructure, and stronger end-user demand, alongside relatively lower property prices and limited supply of branded developments.
The funding will primarily support growth capital requirements, with additional allocation for working capital and reserves. The deal also reflects a broader strategy of partnering with established developers to capture opportunities in emerging urban markets where execution capability and cashflow stability are key.
Omaxe Limited has a significant presence across residential, commercial, and integrated township projects in North and Central India, while WSB Partners continues to expand its footprint in real estate-focused investments across Tier II and Tier III cities.
