The European Union has announced new funding to support the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in Syria and Lebanon.
The additional financial assistance will help UNRWA continue providing essential services and humanitarian support to Palestine refugees facing challenging economic and social conditions.
Palestine refugees in Syria and Lebanon continue to experience significant difficulties, including economic hardship, displacement and limited access to essential services. EU funding will help UNRWA maintain critical assistance and support vulnerable communities.
