The visions sud est Program has opened applications for 10 to 12 new projects, seeking to support independent production and distribution of feature-length fiction and documentary films in Switzerland. The program aims to act as a catalyst for the film industry in the countries of origin of the productions. Fiction projects can receive up to 50,000 Swiss francs for production and 20,000 Swiss francs for post-production, while documentary projects can receive up to 20,000 Swiss francs for production and 10,000 Swiss francs for post-production. Eligible projects must be at least 70 minutes long, and the main producer and director must be from eligible countries. Filming should primarily take place in these countries and in the local language. The selection criteria include two rounds of support annually, application requirements, deadlines, and evaluation by a jury of experts. For more details, visit the visions sud est website.
