The Arts Council is inviting applications for its Co-funding Award to assist Irish arts organizations with their artistic endeavors as part of the European Cooperation Projects and European Platforms strands of the Creative Europe Programme 2021-27.
There are two strands available for funding. Strand 1 is for organizations that have already secured funding for artistic activities under the Creative Europe Programme and allows them to apply for additional support for Irish arts activities that align with specific priorities. Strand 2 provides funding for partner meetings in preparation for applying to the Creative Europe Cooperation Projects and requires meetings to take place in Europe.
The priorities for funding align with the Arts Council’s strategic objectives, focusing on international practice, audience development, public engagement, and strengthening the arts sector. The funding amount varies depending on the project and activities. Eligible costs include artists’ fees, production costs, travel expenses, and more.
Organizations must meet specific eligibility criteria, such as being based in Ireland, having received funding from Creative Europe in 2024, and having potential European partners for cooperation projects. Ineligibility criteria include activities not aligned with funding priorities or better suited for other sources of support.
