India and France have launched the India–France ATL Bridge, a new initiative aimed at connecting school innovation ecosystems and encouraging global collaboration among young innovators. The programme links India’s Atal Tinkering Labs with a newly established school innovation laboratory in France to promote technology education, creativity and entrepreneurship.
The ATL Bridge creates a platform where students, teachers and innovation communities from both countries can work together on creative projects and technology-driven solutions. The initiative will support knowledge sharing, capacity building and collaborative learning experiences to help students address real-world challenges.
The partnership has been introduced through the collaboration of the Atal Innovation Mission and La Fondation Dassault Systèmes. It reflects the growing India–France partnership in science, education and emerging technologies.
India’s Atal Tinkering Labs have played an important role in developing innovation skills among students by providing hands-on learning opportunities in areas such as robotics, electronics, artificial intelligence and design thinking. The programme has helped students explore new ideas through experimentation and practical learning.
The ATL Bridge builds on this approach by expanding international connections and giving students opportunities to engage with peers and educators across borders. The initiative aims to encourage curiosity, creativity and problem-solving skills among young learners.
The launch of the ATL Bridge is part of the India–France Innovation Year 2026, highlighting both nations’ commitment to strengthening cooperation in technology and education. The programme is expected to support a new generation of innovators by creating stronger links between schools, research communities and entrepreneurship networks.
With this initiative, India and France are taking another step toward building a global innovation ecosystem where young minds can collaborate, learn and develop solutions for the future.
