UK-based children’s food brand Lune & Wild has raised £2 million (about $2.69 million) in a Series A funding round led by Guinness Ventures, as it looks to expand production capacity and strengthen its retail footprint across the United Kingdom.
The round also included participation from Dr. Rupy Aujla, a medical doctor and author, as well as Doug Struthers, former managing director of Ella’s Kitchen and current chair of Lune & Wild.
Founded in 2021 by cousins Lara Rodgers and Nadia Simonds, Lune & Wild produces meals and snacks tailored for babies and young children, positioning itself within the growing market for nutritious, chef-quality kids’ food.
The newly raised capital will be used to significantly increase production capacity, accelerate retail expansion, and support marketing and hiring initiatives. The company has also confirmed plans to expand its retail distribution, including a listing on Ocado, alongside continued growth in nursery, deli, farm shop, and childcare-focused outlets.
A major part of the company’s growth strategy is increasing manufacturing scale. Its upcoming kitchen facility will be approximately four times larger than its current production site in West London, enabling higher output to meet rising demand.
The company reports that direct-to-consumer sales currently account for around 75% of revenue, with strong traction across subscription and online channels. It also states it has delivered over one million meals in the past year and is experiencing rapid year-on-year revenue growth, though exact financial figures remain undisclosed.
Investor interest in the round reflects broader momentum in the UK’s premium children’s food sector, where brands are increasingly focused on transparency, nutrition, and convenience for parents seeking higher-quality packaged food options.
The funding positions Lune & Wild to scale operations domestically while maintaining its current focus on the UK market, despite early interest from international regions.
