CapitaLand Hope Foundation has launched the second edition of its Community Resilience Initiative (CCRI), committing up to S$4 million in funding to support vulnerable children and youth across Asia. The programme is designed to strengthen long-term resilience by investing in organisations working in education, skills development, and mental well-being across China, India, Singapore, and Vietnam.
The 2026 edition builds on the previous cycle by adopting a more outcome-driven approach, combining initial grant funding with a performance-based Outcomes Achievement Fund. This means selected non-profit organisations will receive additional financial support if they successfully deliver defined results, encouraging measurable and sustained social impact.
A total of 12 organisations will be selected to receive support under this initiative, with an initial allocation of S$3.5 million and an additional funding pool tied to impact performance. The programme also emphasizes capacity building, cross-sector collaboration, and access to partner networks to help strengthen organisational effectiveness beyond just financial assistance.
The initiative is supported by strategic partners including AVPN and the Philanthropy Asia Alliance, which contribute expertise in grantee selection, outcome monitoring, and ecosystem building. These partnerships are intended to improve transparency, scalability, and knowledge-sharing across regions working on youth-focused development challenges.
Applications for the CCRI 2026 programme are open until June 22, 2026, with selected projects expected to begin implementation in early 2027 and run through 2028. The initiative reflects a broader shift in philanthropy toward impact-focused funding models that prioritize measurable outcomes and long-term community resilience.
