The Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) Foundation has launched a new £20,000 grant initiative to provide additional support to charities it has previously funded. The programme marks the foundation’s first three full years of grant-giving and is designed as a one-off follow-on funding opportunity to strengthen ongoing community impact.
The initiative is open to all charities that received funding from the foundation up to December 2025. Eligible organisations are invited to apply for an unrestricted grant, allowing them to use the funds in the way that best supports their ongoing work and the communities they serve.
Since its launch in 2022, the MAB Foundation has supported dozens of charities across the UK and helped raise substantial funding for community-focused causes. Its work has primarily supported areas such as children’s welfare, mental health initiatives, and support for vulnerable young people.
The selection process for the new funding initiative involves reviewing applications that demonstrate the impact of previous grants through evidence such as case studies, testimonials, and measurable outcomes. A shortlist of charities will be created, with final decisions involving both assessment by the foundation’s grant committee and a voting process involving colleagues.
Overall, the £20,000 initiative reflects the foundation’s goal of building long-term relationships with partner charities while ensuring continued support for projects that deliver measurable community impact. The funding is intended to strengthen sustainability and enable charities to expand their reach and effectiveness.
