The Youth Service America has partnered with the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation to launch the Youth Stop Hunger Innovation Grant, aiming to empower youth in the United States aged 5 to 25 to create sustainable hunger-relief programs in their communities. The initiative will award twelve $2,500 grants to groups of youth who address the root causes of hunger and engage in volunteerism. Projects must focus on sustainable solutions, consider the impact of factors like food waste and poverty, and involve community research. Eligible groups must have 2 to 5 youth members, propose programs to fight hunger, and demonstrate plans for program sustainability. Applicants must also involve peers from diverse backgrounds and select a Sponsor and Mentor to support program implementation. More details can be found on the Youth Service America website.
