Egypt’s Ministry of Youth and Sports has launched the second phase of the “Be a Creative Entrepreneur” initiative to support young people with innovative business ideas. The programme aims to help youth transform early-stage ideas into real, competitive and scalable projects.
The initiative targets more than 2,000 young men and women from different governorates across Egypt. Selected projects will receive funding and technical support of up to USD 4,000, equivalent to approximately EGP 200,000, during the incubation period.
The programme is designed to provide more than financial support. It also offers incubation, technical guidance and technological assistance to help young innovators build successful business models and prepare their projects for the market.
The initiative supports Egypt’s wider efforts to promote entrepreneurship among youth and encourage a knowledge-based economy. By helping young people establish and develop their own projects, the programme aims to strengthen innovation, self-employment and business creation.
Submitted projects will go through a rigorous evaluation process to identify the strongest and most promising ideas. Selected participants will receive support throughout the incubation period to refine their concepts, improve implementation plans and develop viable business models.
Overall, the second phase of the “Be a Creative Entrepreneur” initiative reflects Egypt’s commitment to empowering young innovators. By combining funding, technical support and incubation services, the programme aims to turn creative youth ideas into sustainable projects that can compete in a changing market.
