Kyro Capital has launched Kyro India Opportunities Fund – I, a SEBI-registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) with a target corpus of ₹100 crore to invest in profitable Indian companies preparing for public listings.
The fund will focus on growth-stage businesses expected to launch IPOs within 24 to 36 months and is targeting an internal rate of return (IRR) of 35%. It plans to invest primarily in sectors such as manufacturing, defence supply chains, electrical equipment, energy storage systems, and the broader power ecosystem, while remaining open to opportunities across other industries that meet its investment criteria.
The fund aims to achieve its first close by July 2026 and final close before June 2027. With a planned tenure of five years, extendable by two additional years, it requires a minimum investment commitment of ₹1 crore from limited partners. The launch marks Kyro Capital’s expansion from investment banking and transaction advisory services into asset management.
