Join the 2026 Middle East Youth Summit in Makkah: Umrah and Networking with World Leaders

Dated: November 26, 2025

The Middle East Youth Summit (MEYS) 2026, organized by Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB), has officially opened registration for its international gathering of Muslim youth. Scheduled from March 30 to April 2, 2026, in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, the summit carries the theme “Global Muslim Youth Collaboration for Sustainable Development.” It aims to bring together young Muslims worldwide to exchange ideas, develop leadership skills, and collaborate on projects aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including quality education, gender equality, reduced inequalities, peace and justice, and partnerships for the goals.

Recognized as one of YBB’s flagship programs, MEYS 2026 promotes the spirit of #TogetherforUmmah by combining Islamic values with sustainable development. Participants will work in multicultural groups to design social impact initiatives and gain hands-on experience in leadership and global collaboration. The summit blends educational sessions, cultural exchange, and spiritual enrichment, offering attendees the opportunity to perform Umrah alongside symposiums, workshops, and panel discussions with experts.

The four-day program includes mentoring, project presentations, and an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding delegates in categories such as Best Project, Best Group, Best Participant, and Best Presenter (Male & Female). Winners receive certificates, medals, and recognition across MEYS platforms. MEYS 2026 marks the fifth edition of this international youth series, following previous summits from 2023 to 2025 that focused on leadership, unity, and youth empowerment.

Registration is open to Muslim youth aged 15–40 from all nationalities and academic backgrounds, with basic English communication recommended. Delegates under 18 are advised to travel with a guardian. Two registration pathways are available: a Fully Funded Scheme, which requires an essay and interview with competitive selection and reimbursement after initial payment, and a Self-Funded Scheme, which does not require essays or interviews and is available automatically to applicants not selected for full funding.

Program inclusions cover mentoring, pre-orientation support, seminar kits, meals, local transport, city and university visits, certificates of participation, and media coverage. Participants are responsible for visa and flight arrangements. Registration for the Fully Funded Scheme runs from November 15, 2025, to January 15, 2026, while the Self-Funded Scheme is open until February 15, 2026. Letters of acceptance will be released in batches from December 2025 to February 2026, with final fully funded results announced between March 1–5, 2026.

YBB, known for international leadership platforms such as the Japan Youth Summit, Korea Youth Summit, World Youth Festival, Youth Academic Forum, and Youth Leader Camp, continues to expand MEYS as a growing platform for Muslim youth leadership. MEYS 2026 aims to strengthen global professional and spiritual development while fostering faith-based values, intercultural collaboration, and sustainable development impact among participants.
