Fraganote Secures $3 Million Series A to Expand D2C Fragrance Portfolio

Dated: June 4, 2026

June 2026 – Homegrown D2C fragrance brand Fraganote has raised $3 million (₹28.7 crore) in a Series A funding round led by V3 Ventures (V Cube Ventures SA), with participation from existing investor Rukam Capital. V3 Ventures contributed $2.6 million, while Rukam Capital infused $0.6 million. This follows Fraganote’s $1 million pre-Series A round last year.

Founded in 2023 by husband-and-wife duo Garima Kakkar and Arjun Anand, Fraganote currently offers around 42 SKUs in perfumes and fragrances. The fresh capital will be used to strengthen brand identity, expand omnichannel distribution, and diversify into fragranced body care products such as body wash, mist, lotion, and other personal care offerings.

Fraganote’s revenue mix reflects its omnichannel strategy. Around 60 percent of sales come from its website, while quick commerce platforms like Blinkit and Zepto contribute 20 percent. Ecommerce marketplaces including Nykaa, Myntra, and Amazon account for 10 percent, with offline retail kiosks and multi-brand outlets contributing another 10 percent. The company currently operates kiosks across 14 tier I and II cities and plans to expand to 100 kiosks by year-end.

The brand positions itself as a mid-premium fragrance label with storytelling at the core of its marketing. Each fragrance is launched with a narrative — emotional, nostalgic, or sensory — supported by visuals, music, and packaging to create an immersive experience. Alongside perfumes, Fraganote is exploring expansion into body care, home, and car fragrances, aiming to build a broad lifestyle portfolio.

Fraganote claims a customer base of 300,000, with a repeat purchase rate of 35 percent and an average order value of ₹1,500. The company is targeting ₹60 crore revenue by FY27 and aims to cross ₹100 crore within 18 months.

Operating in India’s fast-growing fragrance market, expected to reach $3.8 billion by 2030 at a CAGR of 12 percent, Fraganote competes with brands such as Secret Alchemist, Pilgrim, Plum, and Skinn by Titan. With its focus on omnichannel growth, product diversification, and global ambitions, Fraganote is positioning itself as a leading player in India’s evolving fragrance industry.
