Hutchinson, June 2026 – The Hutchinson Community Foundation has announced that it is now accepting proposals for the second Impact Cycle of 2026 Fund for Reno County Grants, offering local nonprofits the opportunity to secure funding for innovative projects that strengthen the community.
Established in 1990, the Fund for Reno County serves as a permanent resource to meet the evolving needs of the region. Grants are designed to support initiatives that represent innovation, collaboration, efficiency, or critical needs requiring local support.
Proposals must align with one of four categories: Dynamic Culture (arts, theater, history, tourism) with a maximum request of $20,000; Thriving Kids (early care, education, youth development, families) with a maximum request of $20,000; Community Catalyst (community engagement and pride) with a maximum request of $2,500; and Strong Organizations (capacity and sustainability of nonprofits) with a maximum request of $7,500.
Applications are open to 501(c)(3) organizations serving Reno County, while individuals or groups without nonprofit status must secure a fiscal sponsor. Proposals must be submitted online by August 7, 2026 at Hutchinson Community Foundation’s official grants page.
