Hong Kong — May 26, 2026 — A local non‑profit organization, IncluFit, is redefining accessibility in fitness by creating inclusive opportunities for individuals with visual impairment and other special needs. Founded in 2022 by personal trainer Aileen Wong, the NGO offers free group classes and adaptive running sessions designed to make physical activity welcoming for everyone.
IncluFit’s programmes include fitness, dance, and yoga classes led by volunteer coaches, open to participants of all ages and abilities — from wheelchair users to those with Down syndrome or autism. The organization also runs Visionary Runners, co‑founded with triathlete Hilda Choi Yan‑yin, pairing visually impaired athletes with volunteer guide runners to promote teamwork and confidence.
Earlier this month, IncluFit partnered with Wazup Running Club to host a night charity run, allowing the public to experience guiding visually impaired runners. The event highlighted how communication and coordination transform running into a shared experience.
IncluFit’s commitment to inclusion extends to competitive events. The NGO supported seven visually impaired athletes at the Cigna Healthcare Hyrox Hong Kong 2026, marking a milestone for adaptive participation. Among them was Benny Chu Kin‑wa, Hong Kong’s only Paralympic triathlete, who completed the men’s doubles event after debuting in the adaptive solo category last year.
Wong’s vision stems from her own experience of exclusion after moving to Hong Kong. Determined to remove barriers, she built IncluFit as a bilingual platform in English and Cantonese, ensuring accessibility for both participants and volunteers.
“Our goal is to create an inclusive fitness community in Hong Kong,” Wong said. “We adapt as much as we can — because everyone deserves the chance to move, connect, and belong.”
