Pashchimanchal Gas Company Limited (PGCL) has received financing from the World Bank for the Gas Sector Efficiency Improvement and Carbon Abatement Project. Part of the funding will be used for the procurement of the “Design, Supply, Installation & Commissioning of SCADA & GIS for 10 Gas Stations, including necessary hardware and software” under the Installation of Smart Prepaid Gas Meters, SCADA & GIS at PGCL Franchise Area Project.
PGCL has scheduled an Early Market Engagement meeting on 15 April 2026 at 2:30 p.m. (BST, UTC+6.00) in hybrid mode at the Conference Room of PGCL Head Office in Nalka, Sirajganj, Bangladesh, with online participation via Zoom. The meeting will follow the World Bank Procurement Regulations (February 2025) and aims to provide detailed information to interested contractors, vendors, and manufacturers.
The session will inform participants about the SCADA & GIS procurement package, gather insights on different system features offered by various manufacturers, and review their past experience and financial capabilities. Contractors and vendors interested in attending are requested to register through the PGCL website notice board between 1 April and 13 April 2026.
