The India Scale-Up Summit 2025: An ASPIRE Convening is a day-long immersive event that brings together leaders from government, philanthropy, academia, and civil society to explore strategies for scaling evidence-based programs. The Summit serves as both a celebration of past successes and a platform for advancing the next phase of scaling impactful initiatives, emphasizing collaboration and innovation across sectors.
Over the course of 10 sessions, fireside chats, and the interactive ASPIRE Experience Center, participants discussed critical questions around scaling, including the role of government systems, the impact of philanthropy, and the importance of context-specific approaches. The Summit featured prominent speakers such as Noam Angrist, Rukmini Banerji, Amit Chandra, Iqbal Dhaliwal, Shankar Maruwada, and several senior government officials, who shared insights and best practices for expanding programs to reach millions effectively.
The ASPIRE Experience Center highlighted exemplary projects that have achieved large-scale impact, reaching over 26 million people and mobilizing US$425 million in government co-funding. Featured initiatives included the Gender Equity Curriculum, Targeting the Ultra-Poor, Emissions Trading Scheme, Every Child Counts, and Remote Tutoring programs. The Summit also demonstrated how evidence-based programs can be adapted and scaled across diverse contexts to maximize social impact.
The event will be livestreamed, allowing broader participation and engagement with the discussions and learnings from the Summit, further extending the reach of insights on scaling evidence-based interventions across India and beyond.
