The Sexual Violence Research Initiative (SVRI) will host an online information session to assist prospective applicants interested in the SVRI Research Grant 2026. The session is scheduled for 22 July 2025, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. SAST. It aims to equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to develop strong, ethical, and competitive research proposals.
The session will provide a detailed overview of the eligibility criteria for both funding streams available under the 2026 grant cycle. Attendees will also receive guidance on how to strengthen their proposals by incorporating ethical research practices and essential considerations.
In addition to discussing proposal development, the session will offer advice on forming meaningful partnerships to enhance project impact. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the SVRI team, gaining valuable insights into the application process prior to submission.
