The African Development Bank Group is supporting Côte d’Ivoire’s efforts to improve investment governance through the launch of a new One-Stop Shop for Private Investment Reporting (GUDIP). The digital platform aims to strengthen the collection, management, and analysis of private investment data while supporting better economic decision-making.
The initiative is being implemented by the Investment Promotion Centre of Côte d’Ivoire (CEPICI) under the Programme to Support the Improvement of the Business Climate in Côte d’Ivoire (PACA-CI). The programme is financed with $14.2 million from the African Development Fund, the concessional financing arm of the African Development Bank Group.
Launched during a stakeholder workshop in Abidjan on 10 July 2026, the platform brings together government officials, private sector representatives, professional organizations, and development partners. GUDIP was developed for the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Budget to centralize private investment information and improve the accuracy and reliability of investment data.
The new system will help authorities monitor investment trends, prepare annual private investment reports, and strengthen the design and evaluation of investment promotion policies. By providing reliable data and analytical tools, GUDIP is expected to improve coordination among public institutions and create a more transparent and attractive business environment.
The platform also supports Côte d’Ivoire’s 2026–2030 National Development Plan, which targets nearly $209 billion in investment, with the private sector expected to contribute more than 70% of total financing. The government aims to use these investments to accelerate economic growth and achieve upper-middle-income country status by 2030.
