A new nonprofit initiative called Pave HER Way has officially launched in Los Angeles, introducing funding programs of up to $90,000 aimed at supporting women who are actively driving social and structural change. The organization combines financial support with mentorship and long-term networking opportunities for women working across multiple sectors.
The initiative is positioned as more than a traditional grant-making program, focusing instead on sustained investment in women who are building organizations, projects, and initiatives intended to address systemic barriers. Its founding mission emphasizes moving beyond access-based support toward deeper structural backing for women leaders and innovators.
Pave HER Way offers three primary funding pathways. These include merit-based awards for women with demonstrated impact in advancing opportunities for other women and girls, sponsorship-based funding for transformational projects, and need-based financial assistance to support education, childcare, housing, and professional development costs. Funding levels range up to $90,000 depending on the program.
In addition to financial grants, recipients are provided with mentorship, cohort-based support, and access to professional networks designed to create long-term career and leadership opportunities. The organization emphasizes that these networks are intended to produce tangible outcomes such as partnerships, opportunities, and career advancement rather than informal networking alone.
The nonprofit also invites participation from mentors, industry professionals, and community leaders who can support participants through direct guidance, networking, and operational involvement. Mentorship commitments are structured to extend over multiple years, reflecting a focus on sustained engagement rather than short-term support.
Applications for the inaugural funding cycle are expected to open in August 2026, with eligibility extended to women across fields including business, technology, public service, healthcare, education, law, media, and the arts. The program aims to support individuals working on both entrepreneurial and community-driven initiatives.
With its launch, Pave HER Way enters a growing landscape of gender-focused funding initiatives, positioning itself around long-term investment in leadership development and systemic change.
