Mars, Incorporated has launched the Mars Impact Fund, a new philanthropic initiative aimed at driving lasting impact in the communities where the company operates. The Fund will allocate $85 million from 2025 to 2027, followed by at least $50 million annually from 2028, supporting long-term investments in community resilience, scientific opportunity, and companion animal wellbeing.
Initial grants include a three-year, $3 million partnership with Save the Children to strengthen Village Savings and Loan Associations and community resilience programs in cocoa-growing areas of Indonesia, and a $726,000 grant to Humane World for Animals to expand access to veterinary care and training in India and Mexico. The Fund focuses on improving livelihoods for farm families, diversifying opportunities for scientists, and enhancing veterinary support for pets in under-resourced communities, while also enabling rapid disaster response to protect people, pets, and local communities.
Through strategic partnerships, the Mars Impact Fund aims to deliver measurable, lasting change by addressing systemic challenges, fostering local expertise, and strengthening social and environmental resilience across global communities.
