Introducing the 2024 Impact Report: $16.2 Million in Grants Supporting 390 Global Projects

Dated: March 20, 2025

Overview of the Impact Report 2024

We are excited to announce the launch of our Impact Report 2024, showcasing the remarkable achievements made possible through our dedicated grantee community. This year, we allocated $16.2 million in grants to support a multitude of initiatives across 111 countries, leading to 390 transformative projects. These efforts have significantly enhanced Internet connectivity, education, resilience, and research globally.

Enhancing Internet Connectivity

A vital component of our mission is to improve Internet accessibility. Our projects have successfully connected underserved communities to vital online resources, enabling better access to information, communication, and digital learning opportunities. By breaking down the barriers to connectivity, we are paving the way for equitable digital participation.

Advancing Education

Education remains at the forefront of our initiatives. This year, numerous projects have been launched to foster innovative learning environments, equip educators with essential tools, and provide students with the resources they need to thrive. Our grantees have demonstrated the power of education in driving social change, ensuring that learning is accessible to all, regardless of geographic or economic constraints.

Building Resilience

In an ever-changing world, resilience is crucial. Many of our funded projects focus on strengthening community resilience against various challenges, from natural disasters to economic fluctuations. By equipping communities with the skills and knowledge necessary to adapt and thrive, we are contributing to sustainable development and empowering individuals to take charge of their futures.

Promoting Research

Research plays a pivotal role in driving innovation and informed decision-making. Our grantee community has undertaken critical research initiatives aimed at addressing pressing global issues. By supporting research efforts, we are fostering a culture of inquiry and enabling the development of solutions that can make a meaningful impact on societal challenges.

Conclusion

The Impact Report 2024 highlights the incredible work done by our grantees and their contributions to making the world a better place. Together, we are creating opportunities and changing lives through our commitment to connectivity, education, resilience, and research. We invite you to explore the report and learn more about the inspiring projects that are shaping a brighter future for communities worldwide.
