UK-based ticketing platform Skiddle has announced a new long-term charity partnership with national youth organisation OnSide Youth Zones, committing to raise at least £500,000 over the next four years to support young people across the United Kingdom.
The initiative will help fund OnSide’s network of Youth Zones, purpose-built community spaces designed to provide safe and inclusive environments where young people can access activities, skills development opportunities, and wellbeing support. These centres are located in areas of high need and aim to give young people access to resources that help build confidence and future employability.
Beyond recreational activities such as sports, music production, photography, filmmaking, and dance, the Youth Zones also offer mentoring, mental health support, and employability programmes. The goal is to help young people develop practical skills and receive guidance from trained youth workers.
To support the fundraising target, Skiddle has introduced an optional £1 donation feature at checkout, allowing customers purchasing tickets through its platform to contribute directly to the initiative. The funds raised will be used to expand services and improve access to Youth Zones across the country.
Company leadership at Skiddle stated that the partnership reflects its commitment to using its platform for social impact, while representatives from OnSide Youth Zones emphasized the importance of partnerships in expanding opportunities for young people and creating long-term positive outcomes.
