The FutureGen Girls Foundation and Microsoft Hong Kong have signed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding to expand access to AI and STEM education for teen girls and young women aged 12-19 across Hong Kong. Starting in 2026, the collaboration will focus on developing future-ready skills, mentorship networks, and career pathways, helping students explore diverse opportunities in the rapidly evolving world of work.
Microsoft Hong Kong will support the creation of new learning experiences, including hands-on digital skills training, AI education, workshops, and outreach initiatives, ensuring inclusive access across schools and districts.
The partnership also emphasizes real-world applications of AI, mentorship from industry professionals, and community engagement through youth career fairs. By providing exposure to emerging fields and practical experiences, the initiative aims to empower young women to build confidence, explore their interests, and prepare for careers in over 20 industries, while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.
Both organizations are committed to continuing and expanding the collaboration to strengthen Hong Kong’s youth talent pipeline in the digital era.
