Yesterday, U JU Gimnazija "30. Septembar" in Rožaje hosted an inspiring peer workshop titled "How to Stop Procrastinating Life." This event aimed to motivate young individuals to take charge of their futures and engage more actively in their personal development.
Led by a Peer
The workshop was led by Amar Agović, a student who effectively used creative activities and engaging discussions to connect with his peers. Amar's approach was insightful, as he encouraged participants to share their experiences and challenges related to procrastination. The interactive nature of the workshop fostered an environment where students felt comfortable expressing their thoughts and ideas.
Creative Activities
Throughout the session, participants engaged in various creative activities designed to stimulate their thinking and inspire initiative. These activities not only challenged them to reflect on their own habits but also allowed them to collaborate and learn from one another. Amar emphasized the importance of recognizing procrastination as a barrier to achieving one's goals and encouraged the students to develop actionable plans to overcome it.
Building a Supportive Community
A key take-home message from the workshop was the value of building a supportive community among peers. Amar reminded attendees that they are not alone in their struggles and that working together can lead to significant personal growth. The workshop concluded with a collective commitment to support each other in their endeavors and to hold one another accountable in their journey toward personal improvement.
