RES4Africa Foundation has announced the addition of Sentnet as a new partner, further expanding its network of organizations dedicated to advancing renewable energy and sustainable development across Africa. The partnership was approved by the Foundation’s Executive Committee and reflects a shared commitment to accelerating the deployment of clean energy technologies on the continent.
Sentnet specializes in the design and manufacture of advanced photovoltaic technologies that combine innovation with sustainability. Its solutions support a range of sectors, including agriculture, water management, and energy systems, helping improve resource efficiency while promoting environmentally sustainable production models.
The collaboration aligns with RES4Africa Foundation’s long-standing mission of creating favorable conditions for renewable energy investment throughout Africa. By bringing together public institutions, private companies, and development stakeholders, the Foundation works to improve access to reliable, affordable, and clean energy while supporting sustainable economic growth.
Through this new partnership, RES4Africa and Sentnet plan to explore opportunities for joint projects, technical cooperation, and knowledge-sharing activities. Key focus areas will include decentralized renewable energy systems, agrivoltaic technologies, and the integration of solar energy solutions into productive sectors such as agriculture and water management.
Particular emphasis will be placed on strengthening the water-energy-food nexus, an approach that seeks to improve the efficient use of land, water, and energy resources. The partners aim to develop practical and scalable solutions that can address local development needs while supporting environmental sustainability across African markets.
