Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond is awarding $1 million in grants to five organizations leading the fight against human trafficking in the state. Administered through the Human Trafficking Response Unit, the funding will support providers offering direct services to survivors, including legal advocacy, staffing, community outreach, facility security, and professional development.
Drummond emphasized that combating human trafficking requires more than law enforcement, highlighting the importance of a strong network of dedicated service providers. These grants reflect a commitment to ensuring organizations on the front lines have the resources needed to help survivors rebuild their lives.
To be eligible, organizations must be certified Human Trafficking Service Providers through the Attorney General’s Office. Four recipients maintained full certification throughout 2025, while Wings of Hope earned certification in the latter half of the year and received funding to launch its program.
The five funded organizations are Community Crisis Center, Domestic Violence Intervention Services, Dragonfly Home, The Spring, and Wings of Hope. Funding allocations range from $50,000 to $237,500, supporting a variety of operational and survivor-focused initiatives across multiple Oklahoma communities.
This is the second round of such grants, following a $750,000 funding initiative for certified shelters in 2024, marking continued investment in the state’s human trafficking response.
