The Hilton Global Foundation (HGF), the philanthropic arm of Hilton, has announced a $5.4 million investment in 18 nonprofit organizations worldwide, marking its largest annual funding commitment to date. The grants support initiatives aligned with Hilton’s Travel with Purpose strategy, focusing on expanding career opportunities, strengthening community resilience, addressing food insecurity, and reducing environmental impact.
This year’s funding will enable programs that equip youth with job-ready skills, create pathways into hospitality careers, and support vulnerable populations such as individuals experiencing homelessness, survivors of human trafficking, and persons with disabilities. Organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the International Youth Foundation, and STREETS International are using these grants to provide mentorship, vocational training, and hands-on hospitality experience, helping participants achieve stable, dignified employment.
HGF support also targets critical social and environmental needs. Projects such as the Ocean Purpose Project, Planet Water Foundation, WWF’s Circular Food Future, and The Felix Project are advancing clean water access, reducing food waste, promoting sustainable practices, and creating learning opportunities. Local initiatives, including Hospitality Hub in Memphis, PizzAut in Italy, and TDSD in Türkiye, empower vulnerable communities through employment and skill-building programs that promote independence and inclusion.
Through these global investments, Hilton aims to amplify the impact of its partners by fostering learning, economic empowerment, and sustainable community development. The foundation’s approach highlights the importance of collaboration, ensuring that its grants generate long-term benefits for people, communities, and the planet while strengthening pathways to opportunity and resilience worldwide.
