Established in 2023, The Coca-Cola HBC Foundation was created to support communities across the regions where the company operates by providing grants to nonprofit organisations. The Foundation focuses on delivering long-term, meaningful impact by combining financial support with relevant expertise and guidance where appropriate, ensuring that community needs are addressed in a sustainable and responsible manner.
Since its launch, the Foundation has concentrated its efforts on strengthening community resilience, improving sustainable access to safe water, promoting economic empowerment for young people and advancing circular economy initiatives. These priority areas reflect a commitment to addressing both immediate challenges and structural issues that affect the wellbeing and future prospects of communities.
Between 2024 and 2025, more than €4.3 million in grants were approved to support a diverse range of community initiatives. This funding has been directed toward urgent responses such as disaster relief, alongside longer-term programmes aimed at youth development and resilience-building, enabling communities to better withstand social, economic and environmental shocks.
The Foundation’s work during this period has been carried out in close partnership with trusted local and international organisations across multiple markets. These collaborations help ensure that resources are deployed efficiently and reach the people and places where they can have the greatest impact, reinforcing accountability and local ownership.
Looking ahead, Coca-Cola HBC has confirmed a further €5 million funding commitment for 2026, reinforcing its long-term dedication to community support. The new funding will be allocated across the Foundation’s core focus areas, including community resilience, sustainable water access, economic empowerment and disaster response, and will be distributed in line with established grant management processes.
This continued investment reflects the importance placed on strong partnerships with local NGOs, public authorities and community stakeholders. Guided by trust and shared responsibility, the Foundation aims to build on its momentum and continue strengthening resilient, inclusive communities across its operational footprint.
