Community organisations across East Lindsey are being invited to attend a Community Funding Information Session aimed at helping local groups access the financial support they need to grow, strengthen activities, and launch new projects. The informal drop-in event will be held on Wednesday, 25 February 2026, from 6pm to 7.30pm at the Horncastle Hub on Mareham Road, Horncastle.
The session is open to all community groups, whether well-established or newly formed, and is designed to provide clear, practical guidance on a variety of local funding options. Officers will be available throughout the evening to discuss different funding streams, answer questions, and help attendees identify the support most suitable for their projects or ideas.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about several funding opportunities, including Social Isolation Funding, Crowdfunding support, the East Lindsey Community Lottery, and the East Lindsey Investment Fund. The session caters to a wide range of organisations, from charities, youth clubs, arts groups, and wellbeing projects to sports teams and neighbourhood initiatives, offering guidance for both expanding existing programs and launching new projects.
The event is free to attend, with refreshments provided, and visitors are welcome to drop in at any time during the session. Cllr Sarah Devereux, Portfolio Holder for Partnerships at East Lindsey District Council, encouraged community members to participate, emphasizing that access to funding can transform ideas into impactful projects and that the session provides both practical advice and the confidence to take the next step.
