HCLTech has announced the third edition of its Climate Action Grant in the Americas, continuing its commitment to support scalable and sustainable solutions that address the climate crisis. This year, the program will award $1 million to three non-profit organizations across ten countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and the U.S. The initiative builds on the first two editions, which collectively awarded $2 million to six non-profits and supported initiatives such as biodiversity restoration and sustainability education.
Since its launch in 2023, the Americas program has been part of HCLTech’s five-year, $5 million pledge to fund innovative climate action initiatives that are both replicable and impactful. Past grants have restored 88 acres of longleaf pine forest with over 50,000 trees, empowered more than 1,400 young people and educators, and inspired over 1,000 students to design sustainable communities, demonstrating measurable environmental and social impact.
Dr. Nidhi Pundhir, HCLTech’s Senior Vice President of Global CSR, emphasized the importance of innovation and local insight in driving effective climate action. The program seeks to partner with changemakers whose projects combine creativity, community engagement, and sustainability to generate meaningful outcomes.
HCLTech has received recognition for its sustainability efforts, including a ‘Gold’ rating from EcoVadis, inclusion in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2024 for the third consecutive year, and a 98% ‘Platinum’ rating for its owned buildings from the Green Building Councils.
The application portal for this year’s edition is open from October 24, 2025, until January 24, 2026. The three winning projects will be announced on World Environment Day, June 5, 2026. HCLTech continues to leverage its global presence, industry expertise, and technological capabilities to support initiatives that promote environmental stewardship and sustainable development across the Americas.
