The third workshop on improving Mongolia’s E-business platform was held on 4 November 2025, gathering representatives from five ministries, 30 government agencies, IT specialists, and social partners. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Economy and Development (MED) and the International Labour Organization (ILO), highlighting the collaborative effort to modernize digital services for enterprises.
During the opening, N. Uchral, First Deputy Minister and Minister for Economy and Development, underscored the platform’s increasing importance in supporting enterprise growth and streamlining business operations. He emphasized that a more advanced and user-friendly E-business system is critical for fostering entrepreneurship, enhancing efficiency, and promoting transparency across government services.
Participants discussed the current platform’s complexity and identified opportunities to develop a more advanced version that better meets the needs of businesses and government agencies alike. IT specialists presented technical solutions to improve functionality, security, and accessibility, while social partners shared insights on how the system could better serve enterprises, including small and medium-sized businesses.
The workshop also focused on strengthening inter-ministerial cooperation and ensuring that the upgraded platform aligns with Mongolia’s broader economic and digital development strategies. By addressing challenges and sharing expertise, the initiative aims to create a robust E-business platform that accelerates enterprise development and contributes to a more efficient and transparent business environment in Mongolia.
