The European Union (EU) has announced the 2025 Call for Proposals under the EU4CSOs in Ukraine programme, supported through the Ukraine Facility. This initiative provides a total budget of €17 million to support civil society organisations (CSOs) across Ukraine in implementing projects that strengthen societal resilience and promote democratic values.
The call invites proposals under five thematic areas: Women and Gender Equality, Media, Human Rights, Social Cohesion, and Youth. By focusing on these priority areas, the EU aims to empower local CSOs to drive positive change, foster inclusive participation, and enhance social stability across the country.
All necessary documentation, including the Comprehensive Guidelines for Applicants, is available on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal, allowing organisations to access details about eligibility, application procedures, and evaluation criteria. The reference number for this call is EuropeAid/184490/DD/ACT/UA.
Key deadlines for applicants include the submission of concept notes by 29 January 2026 at 12:00 pm Brussels time. Additionally, an online information session will be held on 9 December 2025 from 10:30 to 12:00 pm Ukrainian time, providing guidance and clarifications for potential applicants.
This EU funding opportunity represents a significant investment in Ukraine’s civil society, offering organisations the resources and support needed to advance social cohesion, human rights, and inclusive development across the country.
