The 2025 cycle of the “Life is Easy in Digital” Project, implemented by Türk Telekom, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Habitat Association, has opened applications for its mentorship and grant program. The initiative aims to equip women entrepreneurs with essential digital skills, including digital marketing, e-commerce, financial literacy, and social media management. At the conclusion of the program, 20 women entrepreneurs will receive a total of 2 million TL in grant support to help grow their businesses in the digital space.
Since its inception in 2019, the project has benefited nearly 40,000 women through a combination of face-to-face and online training. Women entrepreneurs over the age of 18 who have participated in the project’s training sessions are eligible to apply for the 2025 mentorship and grant program. Applications are accepted across seven categories: Digital Solutions and Software, Artificial Intelligence, Rural Development, Traditional Handicrafts, Social Entrepreneurship, Creative Industries, and Sustainability and Environment. Forty women selected through interviews will receive expert mentorship support, while 20 will be awarded grants based on the final evaluation.
Arif Sancaktaroğlu, Director of Corporate Communication at Türk Telekom, highlighted the project’s role in bridging technology gaps and promoting equal opportunities for women in economic life. He emphasized that through training, workshops, mentoring, and grant support, women entrepreneurs are equipped not only with digital skills but also the confidence to pursue their own success stories, contributing to Türkiye’s digital transformation and future growth.
Hatice Güner Kal, Vice President of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council, noted the importance of increasing women’s participation in the economy and strengthening their sustainable business growth. She explained that the project enables women to harness digital opportunities, develop new business models, and enhance competitiveness, creating impactful ventures locally and globally while enriching the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Hansın Doğan, UNDP Türkiye Strategic Partnerships and Private Sector Program Manager, stressed that the project supports women’s economic empowerment, helping them launch and scale businesses that contribute to inclusive and resilient economic growth. Bora Caldu, Chair of the Executive Committee of Habitat Association, added that the mentoring and grant program equips women entrepreneurs with practical skills, fosters digital transformation, and supports sustainable development.
Throughout the mentorship program, participants will receive hands-on training in areas such as identifying target audiences, creating effective content, conducting competitor analysis, designing online advertising campaigns, entering online marketplaces, pricing strategies, managing sales channels, and budgeting. Following completion, twenty entrepreneurs will receive grants totaling 2 million TL, providing vital support to advance their digital business ventures.
