On August 25, 2025, the Coca-Cola HBC Foundation announced a €2.3 million contribution to help communities recover from recent wildfires and floods. The donation will be directed toward reforestation projects in Greece and Cyprus, training and equipping volunteer firefighters in Bulgaria, and relief programs in Romania’s Suceava County to support flood-impacted families in rebuilding shelters and strengthening resilience against future risks.
CEO Zoran Bogdanovic highlighted the company’s long tradition of supporting local communities and emphasized its commitment to step in wherever help is needed.
Alongside these grants, Coca-Cola HBC’s local teams have been active in providing immediate relief on the ground. In Greece, more than 82,000 liters of beverages were delivered to fire services, municipalities, and NGOs. In Cyprus, after a wildfire affected 23 villages near Limassol on July 23, 2025, over 3,000 liters of water were supplied to the Cyprus Fire Brigade. In Serbia, together with Bambi, the company distributed 43,000 liters of drinks and 500 kilograms of Plazma snacks to residents and rescue teams. In Montenegro, nearly 6,500 liters of beverages were provided through the Red Cross, along with a direct donation to local firefighting units. In Bulgaria, more than 1,000 liters of water were distributed to volunteers and residents in coordination with the Bulgarian Red Cross and Sofia municipality during extreme heat.
Established in 2023, the Coca-Cola HBC Foundation continues to play a vital role in offering timely assistance through targeted grants and initiatives, extending the company’s legacy of practical and impactful community engagement.
