The workshop aims to strengthen Mozambique’s national gender monitoring and reporting framework through specialized technical sessions and capacity-building activities. It will provide training on key aspects of gender monitoring and reporting, enabling participants to acquire the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools to improve existing systems and practices.
An important component of the workshop is the review and validation of the Situation Analysis Report on Mozambique’s gender monitoring and reporting system, as well as the gender fact sheet. These discussions, held in close collaboration with national stakeholders, will ensure that the recommendations reflect the country’s realities, priorities, and policy objectives.
The workshop will also focus on defining concrete measures to strengthen the Gender Monitoring and Reporting Framework, leading to the creation of a practical implementation plan. Through plenary sessions and thematic breakout discussions, participants will engage in both broad and detailed dialogue to ensure a comprehensive and effective approach to advancing gender monitoring and reporting in Mozambique.
