Nutri-Connect 2025, the 3rd PNDS International Conference, will take place in Islamabad, Pakistan, from October 17–19, 2025, and invites professionals from nutrition, public health, medicine, academia, and policy to submit abstracts. The conference aims to foster collaboration across disciplines in clinical and public health nutrition, promoting innovative, evidence-based solutions to improve health outcomes at both individual and community levels.
The event will explore key themes, including the intersection of malnutrition, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), and mental health; nutrition across the lifespan; and the latest advancements in clinical nutrition care. It will also address specialized nutrition areas such as cancer, kidney, and gastrointestinal care, as well as the role of nutrigenomics and the gut-brain axis in disease prevention.
Other focus areas include transforming food systems for sustainability, promoting health through social behavior change communication (SBCC), advancing sports nutrition, and integrating nutraceuticals into regulated clinical practice. The conference emphasizes the development of Pakistan’s nutrition and dietetic profession through higher education, leadership training, and career growth.
Additional themes highlight the role of nutrition in national policy, food governance, and agriculture-health linkages, encouraging cross-sector collaboration for sustainable food security. The conference will also examine the role of AI and digital innovations in enhancing nutrition care and public health systems, emphasizing scalable technologies for monitoring and dietary assessment.
