HCLSoftware has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Swiss Network in India—comprising the Embassy of Switzerland, the Swiss Business Hub India, and Swissnex in India—to join the Indo-Swiss Innovation Platform. This collaboration aligns with the Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) framework and is aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation in digital infrastructure and innovation.
The MoU focuses on addressing critical public sector challenges through citizen-centric digital transformation. It promotes innovation in key GovTech areas including e-governance, sovereign collaboration, healthcare, education technology (edtech), and agriculture technology (agritech). Leveraging HCLSoftware’s proven capabilities in platforms like HCL Total Experience, Universal Orchestrator, AppScan, and BigFix, the partnership will explore collaborative models tailored to evolving governance needs.
By connecting government bodies, academia, startups, and industry stakeholders, the initiative aims to establish a cross-border GovTech innovation corridor. This will facilitate knowledge sharing and long-term co-innovation between India and Switzerland, accelerating digital governance advancements in both countries.
As part of the collaboration, HCLSoftware will contribute its Experience, Data, and Operations (XDO) Blueprint — a strategic framework designed to modernize the public sector. This approach will help scale solutions that improve user experiences, streamline service delivery, and enable data-driven governance.
Together, this Indo-Swiss partnership is expected to drive the development of next-generation public sector technologies, setting a new standard in digital government and e-governance innovation.
