The 2025 edition of the Insights Learning Forum (ILF) is set to convene stakeholders from across the digital and public health sectors. This annual flagship event brings together experts, policymakers, and innovators to examine how digital technologies can strengthen healthcare systems across Africa. ILF serves as a collaborative platform for exchanging knowledge, sharing best practices, and exploring innovative digital health solutions for public health advancement.
The theme for the third edition, “Local Investments for Connected Communities: The Power of Digital Health Networks in Public Health Transformation,” emphasizes the urgency of increasing local investment in digital health, especially in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The focus is on the sustainability of community-responsive digital health solutions, which often face challenges in long-term viability without adequate local support.
The forum highlights the need for investments that go beyond financial inputs. These include infrastructure development, capacity-building in human resources, and culturally tailored implementation strategies that ensure the success and scalability of digital health initiatives.
Scheduled for July 30, 2025, in Abuja, the forum is being hosted by eHealth Africa Group in collaboration with several partners. It will feature panel discussions, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities aimed at promoting collaboration and catalyzing impactful public health innovations through digital technologies.
Since its inception in 2023, the ILF has established itself as a leading platform for transforming ideas into action. This year’s edition is expected to showcase compelling case studies, keynote presentations, and workshops that demonstrate how local investments in talent, finance, and infrastructure are already influencing the future of health systems in Africa.
