The Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) is back again with its 17th edition to promote and facilitate the fundraising using the Mumbai Marathon platform and disburses donations raised to respective participating NGOs.
The event has a deeply integrated cause neutral and cost-effective philanthropic structure to help credible NGOs raise funds and build relations through the event. As the philanthropy partner of the event, United Way Mumbai (UWM) creates and administers the philanthropic pillar, which supports non-profits in raising funds for their causes.
UWM ensures that 100% of the funds raised online, on fundraiser & NGO pages are disbursed in full to the NGOs, making the TMM one of the lowest costing fundraising platforms in Asia. The 2019 edition witnessed 272 NGOs raising a record-breaking INR 40.70 crores supported by 176 corporates, and over 1200 individual fundraisers.

You can choose from any of these listed NGOs. In case the NGO you wish to support does not feature in the list given on the website, you can urge the NGO to enlist themselves. Fundraising is facilitated by a model designed for people of all walks of life, to raise funds for their preferred cause/NGO.
This fundraising platform has assumed a stature of eminence of being the single largest philanthropic sporting event in India. Over the course of 16 editions of the marathon, close to 600 NGOs have successfully mobilized over INR 271 crore for a variety of causes across the nation. The 2019 edition itself saw INR 40.70 crores being raised, shattering all previous records.
